This week for 20 Time Blaine and I went to the baseball field to work on the hitting shell. The hitting shell is what we use to take batting practice. We needed to zip tie the shell because the strong wind has broken the other zip ties and we haven't been able to use it until it's fixed. The only true obstacle we had to overcome was last week it was raining during 20 Time and we never were able to go out. So far I've learned a lot about taking care of the baseball field. The next thing we need to do is to keep winning!

#20 Time
In the last two weeks we've made a considerable amount of progress on the baseball field. Last week we used a wheelbarrow and shovel and filled in the holes in the outfield. We used the dirt from behind the center field fence to fill in the holes. This week Blaine and I hung up the distance marker signs on the outfield fence. 310 on both sides and then 385 to center. The only obstacle that we need to overcome is some more time in the hour so we are able to get more things done. During this project I've learned how to take care of a baseball field the right way and to keep it looking nice. We aren't really sure what's next because all we do is what Coach Acker wants us to do.

#20 Time
This trimester for my 20 time project I'm working/cleaning up the baseball field with Blaine. Our mentor is our baseball coach, Coach Acker. He's our mentor because he knows and tells us what he wants to be done to the baseball field. This week we have taken the tarps off of the field and put the bricks and tires into the dugout. We haven't encountered an obstacle this week. The next thing we will be working on the field is painting the dugouts.
